An age-friendly social group to connect with local seniors. This free and accessible program highlights the visibility of seniors in public places as opposed to seniors center's, and promotes socialization over other task-based activities, such as card games or physical exercises.

About the event
Golden Age Management owner, Michelle, received funding from the Community Changemakers Program offered by the City of Brantford, in partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University in fall winter 2023.
This funding provides the foundations for a vision Michelle has to offer an inclusive social group for older adults that is free, accessible, non-task based and hosted in a public space.
After receiving feedback, Michelle has decided to offer this group on the first Friday of every month from 1:30p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Steve's Artisan Teas starting April 5th. The club will provide free teas and treats, as well as social prompts to break the ice among participants!
